We are still experiencing summer weather although from time to time Autumn suggests herself, particularly with overnight temperatures dropping a little now.
A lot has been happening here in the garden. We had a resident Diamond Python for a spell which was wonderful but it meant we had to put up a sign to remind ourselves not to tread on her. We have a Blue-Tongue Lizard who also scares the heck out of me when I forget it’s there.
In November we harvested out Red Onions and Eschallots. Oddly a weed popped up in that garden which we have left and it has become Cantaloupe/Rockmelon which we are looking forward to trying. They are almost ready now.
Our staff Christmas Party on 21 December was a hoot with all staff and partners, we are a noisy bunch.
Picking now: Beans, Tomatoes, Eggplant, Zucchini, Herbs, Raspberries, Figs.
